We’ve already eaten the corn, some romaine, a cucumber, and a tomato. I tasted a corn kernel raw and it was so sweet, I was tempted to eat the whole ear like that. But we ended up boiling the ears for a little while {because the BBQ is out of propane}. Fresh picked corn is so good.
I’ve already got the beets and fennel chopped and in the dutch oven. Tomorrow I’ll add a few carrots and roast them all. I love roasted fennel – found that out last year.
