We had our second annual Gourmet Vegan Thanksgiving tonight. This wraps up a whirlwind of November events. In spite of a smaller crowd this year, and a few staff changes while planning the event (the chef was new to Common Table and to vegan cooking), it went well and we all had a pleasant evening.
Now, two more days of work, one more VegNet related event to attend tomorrow night (we’ve been invited up to the new Cascade Culinary Institute building at the local community college), working on the show Tuesday night, then time to wind down and celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. I’m looking forward to the kids arriving Tuesday night.
