Show notes are up for today’s show:

Emma Clifford of Animal Balance: Positive results for people & animals from global spay & neuter campaigns

In this episode we bring you an interview with Emma Clifford, founder and director of Animal Balance, a unique organization headquartered in Bend, that implements high-volume spay and neuter campaigns for dogs and cats around the world. In 2002, Emma found out that the cats and dogs of the Galapagos Islands were being poisoned—as a result, she founded Animal Balance to address the problem directly and humanely. Since then, Animal Balance has expanded to help in other nations such as The Dominican Republic and The Bahamas, changing the lives of both people and animals in the process.

Judy and Barb also discuss a very important subject that we’ve never before addressed on the show… vegan hotdogs!

And, of course, we highlight the latest News from the Vegan Frontier, let you know about vegan related happenings in and around Central Oregon, and more!

I think it’s about time I tried making Kale Chips again

Standard

I think it’s about time I tried making Kale Chips again. I don’t think I’ve even foisted these on the kids yet. Something I’d like to save up for now that I’ve had the Vitamix for a while—a dehydrator. But, for now, I’ll be using the oven. Unless the BBQ with one burner on low would work?

This recipe sounds good!
